When Roy and Lea McElroy started Eastgate Towing & Storage Inc. decades ago, their business consisted of just one truck. That business grew over the years into the huge operation it is today, evolving with the times as trucks and technology changed. In the 1970s, it wasn’t uncommon for Lea herself to drive down to an accident site in her pajamas to assist with towing services in the middle of the night, and though we lost Lea to cancer in 2004, Eastgate keeps that same spirit alive of doing whatever is necessary for the customer.
